Minnie Irene Lemme

Minnie Irene Lemme, 78, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. Burial will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Westlawn Memorial Gardens between Borger and Fritch.

Minnie was born June 6, 1943. She graduated from Borger High School. She married Fred Lemme on May 29, 1960. She worked for JC Penney for many years in data entry. In her spare time, Minnie was an avid reader. She enjoyed time spent with family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She loved watching the LIfetime Channel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fred Lemme; her infant son, Joseph Lemme; and 12 siblings.

Survivors include two sons, John Lemme and James Lemme both of Amarillo; a daughter, Samantha Golden and husband Eddie of Amarillo; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and one more on the way.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to Harrington Cancer Center.
