M.L. "Buddy" Swindell

Mr. Swindell was born December 11, 1929 in Paris, Texas to Dale and Gertrude Swindell. He attended Memphis High School. He married Gerelene Hemelstrand on December 15, 1949. He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Buddy was a business owner. He drove buses for Trailways for over 20 years. He was preceded in death by a son, Andy Swindell; three brothers; and one sister. Survivors include his wife, Gerelene Swindell; two daughters, Cindy Terk and husband, Michael of Amarillo, and Donna Hunnicutt of Austin; a son, Jack Swindell and wife Carolyn of Amarillo; a brother, Tom Swindell and wife Alene of Amarillo; a sister, Charlene Thore of Decatur; six grandchildren, Bonnie Kellogg and husband Donnie, Kelle Bankhead and husband Scott, Angela Pisani, Jerrod Swindell, BJ Hunnicutt, Thomas Hunnicutt; and nine 9 great-grandchildren.
