Mona Ellen Harvey

Mona was born November 11, 1933 in Muleshoe to Clarence and Lida Wilhite. She was a graduate of Muleshoe High School and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Wayland Baptist University. She married Fred Harvey in Muleshoe in 1957. She was a member of Coulter Road Baptist Church. She also served as secretary for several churches and she had a special place in her heart for the children. She worked at Amarillo College for 10 years, the Department of Human Services. She was an amazing cook and owned her own catering business until her health would not allow her to continue. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Lida Wilhite; and a daughter, Nikki Carol Harvey. She is survived by her husband, Fred; her children, Bob and Michelle Harvey; a grandson, Tyson; and 3 great grandchildren, Zach, Paige, and Savannah; and her little dog "Katy".
