Monica Lai Dixon

Monica was born on September 21, 1973 in Pretoria, South Africa to Ho Sing and Yong Lai. She moved to Atlanta, GA in 2000, where she met and married Brandon Dixon on May 10, 2008. In 2007, they moved to Amarillo, where Monica worked as a medical assistant at Texas Tech University Medical Center for close to 5 years. She was a caring person who had a contagious smile and could light up a room. Monica was beautiful inside as well as outside and always made those around her feel special. She will be missed by her family as well as many close friends. She is survived by her husband, Brandon Dixon of Amarillo; children, Eloise Hiten and Cooper Dixon; grandchild, Braylen Cofer; mother, Yong Lai; siblings, Ursula Low, Jack Ho, Colleen Neth and Jeanne Ma; mother-in-law, Mechelle Simpson; sister-in-law, Ponda Dixon of Atlanta, GA and brother-in-law, Stefan Dixon of Amarillo as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from around the world. She was preceded in death by her father.
