Monte Lee Potts

Monte Lee Potts, 49, of Amarillo passed away on Wednesday March 17, 2021 in Amarillo. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday March 30, 2021 at Lighthouse Church of Amarillo, 5631 Pavillard Dr. in Amarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral home. Monte was born on July 20, 1971 in Amarillo to Don and Johnnie Potts. He graduated from Amarillo High School in 1989 and later attended Amarillo College. Monte worked as a home healthcare aide for many years and enjoyed spending his time with close friends. He also enjoyed quality time with his niece and nephew. Monte loved being around his family and spending time with his loved ones. He will be missed by many. Survivors include his parents, Don and Johnnie Potts of Amarillo; one brother, Michael Potts of Amarillo; one niece, Brinkley and one nephew, Caden. Survivors also include a host of extended family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to The Lighthouse Church of Amarillo, 5631 Pavillard Dr. Amarillo, TX 79108.
