Morris (Tim) Edwards

Morris (Tim) Edwards, 80, of Amarillo walked into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 19, 2020. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 23, 2020, at Trinity Fellowship Church, Student Ministry Center, 5000 Hollywood Road, with Pastor Larry Miles officiating. The family will have a private burial for Tim following the service. Tim was born October 4, 1939, to Horace and Betty Edwards in Ryan, Oklahoma. Tim married his sweetheart Patt Fox in June of 1978, they spent 42 wonderful years together. He and Patt were faithful members of Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo. Tim loved hunting, and providing for his family. He was strong, and always cared for those around him. Tim was a pillar for his family, always there to help a friend in need. He was a faithful husband, father, brother and friend. Above all, Tim loved Jesus and always looked to the Lord for strength, and remained devoted to his faith throughout his life. He will be greatly missed. Tim was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Timothy Duane Edwards “Joe”. Survivors include his wife, Patt Edwards of the home; one daughter, Belinda Potts of Amarillo; two sons, Steve Fox and wife Dina of Canadian and Mike Fox of Amarillo; one brother, Gary Edwards of Amarillo; two sisters, Jann Giebler of Oklahoma City and Ann Beck of Saginaw; seven grandchildren, Aaron Potts, Austin Potts, Tekie Robertson, Sarah Coburn, Caleb Fox, Chris Fox and Boston Fox. Survivors also include a host of great grandchildren and additional family and close friends.Tim
