The service for our wonderful, brilliant, loving and kind Mykle McKee will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at Hillside Christian Church, 6100 S. Soncy in Amarillo. His life will be celebrated in Austin on February 23, 2019 which is the day after his 16th wedding anniversary to Stephanie. Mykle graced the world on October 7, 1975 to Mike and Brenda McKee in Amarillo Texas. His childhood was spent with lifelong friends, family and a love for swimming. He was a brilliant child and grew into a brilliant Husband, Father, Son, Brother and Friend. He attended Texas Tech and was a fraternity brother. Mykle moved from Amarillo in November of 2002, and then married Stephanie Mariner on February 22, 2003. They spent time in Wichita Falls until moving to Austin in 2006. While his life was certainly not long enough, it was a full and happy one. He worked for Kasasa in Austin and used his beautiful mind to become the best Technical Engineer his company had ever seen. Mykle has three amazing children. Kyler Chase, 18; Dylan Mykle, 14 and Masyn Kay, 3. He loved his wife and children with his whole heart. He loved his entire family with his whole heart. If Mykle knew you and loved you, you were his family. He had a fierce passion for life. He loved to spend time with his friends camping, going to the gun range, game nights, Dallas Cowboy Football, UFC Fights and smoking barbecue. Mykle had a few favorite places, but the three places he loved the most were playing Farkle and dominoes with his family at the dining room table, Lake Georgetown Campsites and tending to his smoker making his “world famous” pork butt. Mykle was always surrounded by people that loved him unconditionally. He had such a relaxed, calm, peaceful and funny spirit and could always be counted on for a laugh and to help in any way possible. While he is no longer in our earthly world, he gained his much deserved “Super Daddy Angel Wings” on January 7, 2019. His baby girl said her Daddy lives with Jesus in her Heart.....and she is absolutely right. Mykle will be missed by all that knew him. He was surrounded by love and family when he went to his Forever Home. He is survived by his parents, Mike and Brenda, his wife Stephanie, his 3 children, Kyler, Dylan and Masyn. His brother Ryan and his in laws, Jerry and Beverly Mariner and Dwayne and Kyme Mariner. While we grieve here for Mykle, he is in Heaven smiling down on us all and wrapping his arms around all those who love him. His kind, brilliant and loving legacy lives on forever in his beautiful children.”
