Myrna Zaring Jackson

Myrna was born April 28, 1947 in Morton, Washington to M.H. and Alma Zaring. She attended Adrian High School. She married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Paul E. Jackson in Adrian, Texas on July 25, 1964. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in Shreveport, Louisiana this July. Myrna graduated from Amarillo Beauty College in 1965 and then operated her beauty shop in Vega for 30 years. She loved gardening, and working in her yard and could grow roses and vegetables like no one else. She is survived by her husband, Paul E. Jackson of the home; a daughter, Tonya Kay Martin and husband Randy of Vega; a son, Marty Paul Jackson and wife Anita of Bossier City, LA; three grandsons, Logan Martin, Wesley Martin, and Kasey Jackson; one brother, Jimmy Zaring and wife Sandra; one sister, Patty Bannister and husband Don; one sister-in-law, Sharon Kay Brownlee and husband Joel; two nieces, Trina Muse and Brandy Miller; four nephews, Brian Zaring, Brent Brownlee, Vance Brownlee, and Ky Brady Brownlee; and her two spoiled schnauzers, Salty and Ace.
