Nan Ferguson

Nan was born on January 16, 1931 in Stratford to Eccle and Cecil Koontz. She moved to Amarillo, 41 years ago, where she married Morris Ferguson. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2002. Nan worked as a professional cook her entire life. She was a member of First Christian Church as well as a member of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the Nile. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Demolay and Rainbow Girls. Nan devoted her life to parenting 5 children and in her spare time enjoyed cooking, tole painting and sewing. She is survived by her son, Jerry Ferguson and wife Linda of Amarillo; daughter, Cecilia Hall of Amarillo; daughter, Debbie Grant and husband Jeff of Canyon, son, Maurice Ferguson of Amarillo; son, Bobby Ferguson and wife Angela of Ponder; 11 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, T.J. Koontz and wife Cherie of Amarillo and 2 sisters, Peggy Bosley of Amarillo and Pat Renfro and husband Bob of Lubbock. She was preceded in death by her husband, Morris Ferguson and brother, James Koontz.
