Nancy M. Beattie

Nancy was born on September 13, 1929 to Ben and Martha Seeley in Mount Pleasant, IA. On September 30, 1950, she married her true love Bob Beattie, to whom she was married for 65 years. Nancy was a homemaker, a farmer's wife, and an accomplished painter and seamstress. She enjoyed attending and participating in numerous activities of all her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob, and a brother Judson Seeley. She is survived by a Son Steve Beattie and wife Vickie of Dumas, 4 Daughters, Patricia Robbins and husband William of Abilene, Elizabeth Brestrup and husband Steve, of Amarillo, Linda Phipps, of Amarillo, and Martha Burch and husband Jimmy of Concan, Tx. Sister Susan Barker and husband Darrell of Dubuque, Ia, and sister-in-law Wynn Seeley of Iowa City, Ia. 9 Grandchildren, and 15 Greatgrandchildren. In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
