Nancy Wilcox

Nancy Wilcox, 84, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, June 5, 2023. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Pastor Victor Miller officiating. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Public viewing will be between 5:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday and 9:00 - 12:00 on Saturday.

Nancy was born November 14, 1938 in Neptune, New Jersey to John and Bertha Kennedy. The family moved to Texas in the 1950’s. She worked for Southwestern Investment Co. and Barclay’s American as a loan officer. In her spare time, Nancy enjoyed all types of dancing. Her square dancing club was called “Levi’s & Lace”. She also loved serving the Lord through her church. She and her Sunday school class enjoyed many outings together. She was an avid reader who loved animals. She was an amazing aunt and grandmother, and relished time spent with her grandkids.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Edith Parrish.

Survivors include her daughter, Eva Ramos and husband Ernie of Amarillo; her sister, Verna Trout of Ocala, FL; three nieces, Trish Hughes and husband Mike of Shiloh, IL, Barbara Striley and husband Danny of Amarillo, and Diana Bryant of Quanah; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
