Naoma Jane Taylor

Naoma Jane Taylor, 76 of Amarillo passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2018. Naoma was born April 10, 1942 to William and Marijane Gray in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She graduated from Tascosa High School before enrolling in college in San Marcus where she received her associated degree. Naoma was in the Theater Arts Country Squire and Amarillo Little Theater for 16 years. She was a member of First Christian Church for about 50 years and was a florist for Freeman's Flowers for 20 plus years. Naoma enjoyed bird watching and absolutely adored Elvis Presley. More than anything she loved her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Naoma was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband John Taylor. Survivors include, one son Jeffrey John Taylor and wife Vanessa of Tulsa, OK; one daughter, Jeannie Jane Amon of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Dalton Drew Taylor, Taylor Phillip Amon, and Zachary Thomas Amon all of Amarillo.
