Nicolas M. Rincon

Nicolas M. Rincon, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday February 19, 2023. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday February 25, 2023 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. with Jennifer Asher officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday February 24, 2023 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Services are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Nick was born on April 22, 1945 in Rosebud, Texas to Nicolas and Juanita Rincon. He attended Rosebud High School. Nick was a loving and devoted husband to his wife, Sara; the married on May 17, 1966 in Plainview and together celebrated over 56 years of marriage. He worked for Hastings Entertainment warehouse in Amarillo for over 20 years, before he retired.

Nick enjoyed listening to music, spending time with his family and being surrounded by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was loved by so many, and will be greatly missed.

Nick was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Sara Rincon, of the home; his daughter, Nancy Flores and husband Juan; four grandchildren, Isaiah Flores and wife Kourtni, Daniel Flores, Rachel Flores and Monica Flores all of Amarillo; four great grandchildren, Ezra, Jack, Kinley and Lily; three brothers, Carlos Rincon, Pete Hernandez and John Rincon; five sisters, Mary Rodriquez, Victoria Navarro, Juanita Garcia, Janie Grinie and Nikki Rincon.
