Nona C. Webb

Nona 77, of Amarillo passed away January 4,2017. Nona was married to the absolute love of her life Mickey for 56 years. Nona had an eagle eye out for Mickey when she was a Freshman and he was a Senior at Amarillo High. She signed up for a Drafting class so she could be in the same class with him, and that's when they fell in love. Nona was co-owner alongside Mickey of Western Photo Service for over 35 years. She was a very talented artist, creating many paintings and pottery creations that her children will cherish. She was a die-hard Cowboys fan and loved watching the games surrounded by her family. She spent many summers traveling the country with Mickey in their R.V. They shared their love of travel and nature. They had a lake house at Greenbelt and loved hosting family and friends. She loved her family and her life with Mickey. Survivors include two daughters, Summer Balcer and husband David and Melanie Dennis; a son, David and wife Susan; a sister in law Sharon Kelley; Half-Brother David Meek: three granddaughters, Katie, Olivia and Elise; and two grandsons, Brian and Matthew. The family would like to express their appreciation to the caregivers at Northwest Texas Hospital for the CCU team and especially Dr.'s Moreau and McCollum for their compassion in caring for our Mom.
