Robby Ellsworth Fithen

Robby Ellsworth Fithen, 46, of Amarillo died May 20, 2019. Memorial services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. with Dr. Larry Dunlap of Valleview Church of the Nazarene officiating. Robby was born February 14, 1973 to Johnny and Phyllis Fithen. He lived on their farm in Claude until moving to Canyon. He graduated from Canyon High School and attended WTAMU. He also went on to graduate as a firefighter from Amarillo College. He worked most of his life at Priester Supply. He continued courses at Amarillo College until his death. He was to start a new job in electrical supplies and moving to Georgetown for training on the day of his death. He was preceded in death by a daughter Rebecca age 12; his grandparents, Bus and Lona Fithen and Oma and Leon Stratton; a nephew, Lotus Keith Fithen; and an uncle, Howard Fithen. Survivors include his wife Dawn Fithen, N.P.; his mother, Phyllis and husband Larry Pettit of Amarillo; his father, Johnny Fithen and wife Lea; two brothers, Ryan Fithen and Royce Fithen and wife Michelle; of Bushland, and their six children, Hunter Fithen of Dumas, Drake Fithen, Braxton Fithen, Parker Fithen, Grant Fithen and Lexi Fithen; many distant relatives. The family suggest memorials and donations to Open Heart Hospice 1901 Medi-Park Drive, Amarillo, TX 79106.
