Sara Dawn (Neie) Treat

Sara Dawn Treat, 35, of Amarillo passed away Monday, April 22, 2019. The family will receive friends and loved ones for visitation Thursday, April 25, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. with a celebration of Sara’s life to follow at Hillside Christian Church, 6100 South Soncy Road. Sara was born February 26, 1984 in Amarillo, Texas to Jeff and Vicki Neie. She was raised in Amarillo and attended public schools, before living at Girlstown and receiving her G.E.D. Sara married Shawn Treat in Amarillo on April 10, 2004. She loved watching and coaching softball, especially when her daughter Brenyn was playing. Sara enjoyed fishing, but would make Shawn take the fish off the hook and she would not eat the fish! She cherished movie night and loved to cuddle while watching scary movies. Sara was a simple person and was known to have her crazy colored hair. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees fan, who she grew to love and hate. Sara and Shawn permanently and will always share a saying “Remember we will always have each other… When everyone else is gone…” Shawn and Sara shared a text code 143= I Love You and 8321= I Love You Back. Sara will be remembered as a loving mom, wife, daughter, sister and aunt. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Sara was preceded in death by her father and grandparents. She is survived by her mom, Vicki Neie; husband, Shawn Treat; daughter, Brenyn Treat; son, Bradyn Treat; step-son, Evan Treat; sister, Emily Ball and husband Jarrod; three nieces, Jordyn Ball, Darian Wieck and Drew Doan; three nephews, Tyler Ball, Jaxyn Ball and Ethan Doan and her four-legged fur babies, Gyzimo, Max, Gadgyt and Pups.
