Oralia Cervantez Rodriguez

Oralia Cervantez Rodriguez, 63, of Amarillo passed away on May 14, 2025. Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday May 20, 2025 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive. The family will be accepting friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday May 19, 2025 at the funeral home with a Rosary starting at 6:00 PM.

Oralia was born on August 31, 1961 in Leveland, Texas to Antonio and Juanita Cervantez. She met and married the love of her life, Javier S. Rodriguez on January 31, 1988 in Amarillo, Texas. Together they shared 36 wonderful years, three amazing children before her passing. Oralia was a member of Saint Lawrence Catholic Church. She was the sweetest, loving lady. Oralia had a very kind heart, and enjoyed gift giving. She loved a good cup of coffee while enjoying a glazed donut or a bag of donut holes from The Donut Stop. Oralia had love for all animals, especially the babies. She enjoyed going shopping any chance she could get, whether it was at the local Walgreens or Wal-Mart. Oralia loved her family fiercely, her children and her one and only grandson where her pride and joy. She dedicated her life to caring for her family. Oralia will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Oralia was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Antonio Cervantez Jr.

Survivors include her devoted husband, Javier S. Rodriguez; her two daughters, Rosaelia Mitchell and husband Clyde; Guadalupe Rodriguez and husband Max; her son, Javier A. Rodriguez; her grandson Daniel Bolanos all of Amarillo; her sister, Rosa Maria Diaz of Hereford; her six brothers, Juan Cervantez and wife Pilar; Rodolofo Cervantez; Arnulfo Cervantez; Ricardo Cervantez; Robert Cervantez and wife Irma; Reymundo Cervantez. Survivors also include a host of other family members and dear friends.
