Oran Kerley

Oran was born July 22, 1940 in Claude, Texas to Odom and Geneva Kerley. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1957. He proudly served in the Army National Guard for 18 years. Oran worked for the Texas Dept of Transportation in the design office. He was a heavy equipment operator. He owned several construction companies throughout his career, one of which was Panhandle Earthworks, Corp. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Kerley of Amarillo; a son, Beau Kerley and wife Delana of Amarillo; and two grandsons, Ben and Blake Kerley. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Kerley. The family suggests memorials be made to Palo Duro Baptist Church, 5704 FM 809, Wildorado, TX 79098.
