Pam (Faust) Oakley

Pam Faust Oakley, 69, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday December 31, 2021 in Amarillo. Pam will be available for viewing from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday January 4, 2022 at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Pam was born on October 21, 1952 in Amarillo to Raymond and Jetta Faust. Pam enjoyed crafting, painting t-shirts and ceramic Christmas ornaments. She liked to travel and work on cars. Pam was a proud and strong woman and always enjoyed doing things with and for her family. She always told things like they were, whether you wanted to hear it or not. Pam was a fun and loving person and valued time with her grandchildren, especially playing salon with her granddaughter Izzy, her Nannies personal Salon Lady. Pam had a joy for life that never left her and loved being outdoors. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Pam was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Donna Follis and Carol Faust.

Survivors include her husband, Tad Oakley of the home; one son, David Alfred of Amarillo; two daughters, Sheila Martinez and husband, Ronnie and Stephanie Alfred all of Amarillo; three step daughters, Marnie Quintanilla and husband Miguel of Portland, Texas, Kelly Smith and husband Brandon of Amarillo and Mikki Leadford  and husband John of Portland, Texas; one brother, Jim Faust; eight grandchildren, Christian Donald, Jacob Donald, Brianna Armstrong, Caleb Pulaski, Nickolas Langham, David Alfred, Dawson Alfred and Izzy Martinez(aka Salon Lady); four great grandchildren and two nieces.
