Pam Holmes was born March 22 1952 in Haskell, TX and went to her reward in Heaven February 12, 2022 in Amarillo, TX. Memorial Services will be Friday February 18th, 1:00 pm at Comanche Trail Church of Christ, 2700 SE 34th Ave. Pam graduated from Denver City High School in 1971. She was married to the love of her life Russ on June 4 1971. Pam loved to travel to Colorado and one of her favorite places to visit was Palo Duro Canyon, she also loved gardening (looking at all the pretty flowers that her husband planted for her) but most of all she loved spending time with her family- mostly her 5 grandkids who know her as Nana. Her grandkids were her whole life and she loved to take them to visit the discovery center, the museum and Palo Duro Canyon. Pam loved to learn and she loved to teach her grandchildren. She also enjoyed loving on her cat Prissy and her dog Zip.
She never met a stranger that didn’t become an instant friend. She loved God and was a member of Comanche Trail Church of Christ. Pam attended Amarillo College and she worked as a Montessori teacher and then at Alice Landergin Elementary and she later worked at BSA as a medical records clerk.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Barzie and Joyce Parker.
She is survived by her husband Russ Holmes of Amarillo, son Russell (Brad) Holmes and wife Shannon of Amarillo, daughter Cinnamon and Jeremy Fitzer of Pampa, her 5 grandchildren Justin Holmes, Devin Holmes, Sybil Holmes, Madison Sloan & Lillie Sloan and a brother Gary Parker and wife Gayla of Waco, TX and sister Carol Roberts of Seagraves and a sister Debbie Ashley and husband David of Marble Falls and many nieces and nephews.
