Pamela Joan Maynard

Pamela Joan Maynard, 52 passed away Friday, April 13, 2018. Celebration of Life Gathering will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home. Pamela was born June 27, 1965 to Edwin and Dorothy Greve. She was raised in Winter Haven, FL where she graduated from High School. Pamela above all loved her Lord and Savior. Being a child of God meant everything to Pam and defined who she was as a person. Pamela was a hair dresser for 22 years and then she started working for Owens Corning in August of 2011. She moved to Amarillo to marry her husband the love of her life, Vernon on December 21, 2011. Pam loved Vern deeply. They lived their lives for each other and their pets. Pamela was very loving and honest. People just couldn't help but fall in love with her. She was a wonderful listener, and she loved everyone. She had many friends and coworkers who felt like Pam was a part of their family. She touched the hearts of many, many people. Pam loved Harleys. She enjoyed listening to rock music and riding. She was known for being generous and non-judgmental. She was a lover of all animals. Pam will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Pam was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Vernon Maynard of Amarillo; one sister, Sandy Malm of New York State; one brother Skip Grueneveld of New Smyrna Beach, FL; two beloved nephews and her beloved pets, Rosie, Mrs. Kitty and moew moew.
