Pat Gaffney

Pat was born June 26, 1939 in Altus, OK. She graduated from Altus High School. She moved to Amarillo in 1959. She married Sam Gaffney in 1961 at Amarillo. She worked for GMAC as a clerk for several years, and also at SIC. Pat was a very talented crafter and artist. She loved playing bridge, and enjoyed trout fishing. She was a member of Paramount Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include her husband, Sam Gaffney; two daughters, Shana Rios and Staci Gaffney both of Amarillo; one son, Sean Gaffney and wife Carrie of Lumberton, TX; one sister, Beverly Snow of Kansas; one brother, Ollie Williamson of Altus, OK; and five grandchildren, Krystle Rios, Colton Carthel, Devin Gaffney, Darian Gaffney, and Summer Cade. The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
