Patricia Clark

January 25, 1927 — September 6, 2015

Patricia was born on January 25, 1927 in Wallowa, Oregon. She was raised in Oregon, where she graduated from high school. She then began a career in nursing, earning her certification while caring for soldiers during WWII. Patricia moved to Amarillo in the 1950's. Here, she was a woman of many traits. She and her husband owned Dunkin Donuts for over 13 years, then they opened Flexo Graphics, which they ran until their retirement in 2000. She was known for her radio show she hosted for many years, the Pat Denton Radio Show on KGNC. Patricia was a member of the Rotary Club, where she played the piano for over 40 years. Upon moving to Amarillo in the 1950's, she became of member of the First Church of Christ, Scientist. She devoted her life to serving her church as a clerk, organist and Sunday school teacher as well as serving on the church board. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Ray Clark. She is survived by 3 sons, John Clark of Amarillo, Jeff Clark (and wife Valorie) of Dallas and Joseph Clark (and wife Elzette) of South Africa; 7 grandchildren, Dylan Clark (and wife Summer) of Amarillo, Emily Willis (and husband Bobby), Abby Hawley (and husband Chase) of Oklahoma, Coby Clark of Denver, Staci McGill (and husband Curtis) of Amarillo,PH van Pletzen (and wife Felicity), Zetske Theart (and husband Altus) and Joshua Clark of South Africa; 10 great grandchildren, Aubree Clark, Rayna Clark, Abby Willis, Logan Clark, Brooklyn Willis, Isaac Clark, Gracie Hawley, Cassidy Larsen, Lola McGill, Isaac McGill and her great-great granddaughter, Gracie Moore.
