Patricia Ann Colwell

Pat was born on September 6, 1942in Dallas to Kenneth Perry Osborn and Mamie Nell Osborn. She moved to Abilene as a child, where she was raised and graduated high school. She then attended college at Cisco College in Cisco, where she trained for her career as a cardiologist technologist. Pat worked for many years in cardiology at Hendricks Hospital and Dr. Robert Leverton in Abilene as well as working for Methodist Hospital in Lubbock and eventually Baptist St. Anthony's in Amarillo, where Jim and Pat made their home. Patricia married James "Jim" Colwell in 1987 in Munday, TX. She was an amazing wife and mother and always kept and beautiful and inviting home. Most of all, Pat loved life and loved being with her family. She is survived by her husband, James "Jim" Colwell of Amarillo; daughters, Patty Adams of Abilene, Kelly Fetzko and husband Robert of Jonestown, PA, Miles Colwell of Rancine, WI and Wally Colwell and wife Richelle of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Jackie Brewer and husband Sonny of Dallas, Chris Baber of Abilene, Lynda Clair and husband Gary of Dallas and Glynda Parks and husband Tommy of Austin and her daughter-in-law, Rhonda Adams of Ovalo She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Kenneth Osborn and son, Lewis Adams and daughter, Feather Crawford. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Downtown Lion's
