Patricia "Pat" Hoffman

Patricia “Pat” Hoffman, 83, of Amarillo, passed into the arms of Jesus on February 11, 2021 in Amarillo. Memorial service will be 2:00 PM Saturday February 27, 2021 at South Georgia Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Martin Officiating. Pat will be available for viewing on Thursday February 18, 2021 and Friday February 19, 2021 from 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Pat was born on July 3, 1937 in Childress to Louis and Imojean Stamps. She had a green thumb and enjoyed spending time working in the garden. Pat loved her dogs and watching the birds. She was an avid reader. Pat spent much of her time hosting friends and family in her home and cooking for those she loved. She cared deeply for her children and always loved being surrounded by them and her grandchildren. Pat never met a stranger and if you knew Pat, she treated you like one of her own. She will be missed by many.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Hoffman and one son, Tom Abbott.

Survivors include one son, Lynn Moseley and wife Karol of Dumas; two daughters, Susan Cockrell and her husband Britt and Donna Baker both of Amarillo; 14 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Survivors also include a host of nieces and nephews.
