Patricia Ann (Inman) Day

Patricia Ann Inman Day, 80, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 18, 2023. No services are scheduled at this time.

Patricia was born on March 3, 1943, to Samuel and Annie Inman in Amarillo. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1961. She was employed at Texas Tech Health Science Center Obstetrics and Gynecology Division and after serving for 16 years she retired in 2009. Patricia was a member of First Baptist Church of Amarillo and although she was homebound for many years, she worshipped every possible Sunday with First Baptist Church Television Ministry.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sam Inman and wife Lois of Dalzell, Ill; sister, Wanda Erlene Arp and husband Aubrey of Amarillo; sister, Joyce Inman Brown and husband Bill of Amarillo.

Survivors include a son, Scott Day of Amarillo, two grandsons, Triston and Jordan Day of Amarillo, brother, Wilford (Sonny) Inman and wife Mary of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.

On behalf of the family, we wish to express our gratitude for your many kindnesses evidenced in your prayers, thought and deed.

I am now in heaven ----- the gates have opened wide -----

And now I have the privilege of walking by His side.

The angel choir is singing, and the music is so sweet;

I’ll join them just as soon as I have worshiped at His feet.

I am now in heaven ----- please wipe away your tears.

I’ve fought the battle, run the race ----- I’m rid of all my fears,

There is no pain or sorrow here; the heartaches now are past.

I’ve read and sung of heaven, and now I’m here at Last!
