Patricia Ann McDuffee Brewer, 69, of Amarillo, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 21, 2020. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 28, 2020 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Rev. James Jackson officiating. “Trish” was born January 19, 1951 in Plainview, Texas to Lee and Bessie (Woodard) McDuffee. She graduated from Caprock High School in 1969. She married Jim Brewer on November 2, 1974. He preceded her in death in 2014 after 40 years of marriage. Trish worked for Montgomery Ward, and then CEM Services, and Terry Burns Auto Air. Since 2006, she has worked for B Cool, with her dear friend Darrell Irlbeck. She was currently a member of Living Waters Church in Canyon, after having been a 40 year member of Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo. Trish loved singing, spending time with family and friends, playing bunko, sewing, and most importantly interceding and covering others in prayer. Her relationship with the Lord was obvious to everyone who knew her. She was passionate about sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. She had a servant’s heart and was an anchor for her family. She loved the truth, pursued it, and was unafraid to speak it. Trish believed with all her heart, that Jesus was the Way, the Truth, and the Life. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jim Brewer; and a nephew, Garrett McDuffee. Survivors include her son, Joshua Brewer and wife Elyse Larew of Beaufort, SC; three grandchildren, Lilyana Brewer, Emily Brewer, and Charley Brewer; her sister, Sharon Edwards and husband Tony of Amarillo; her brother, Eddie McDuffee and wife Jacquelynn of Amarillo; and her beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. The family suggests memorials may be made to the High Plains Food Bank, 815 Ross St. Amarillo, TX 79102.
