Patricia "Pat" Riggin

Patricia “Pat” Riggin, 91, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday April 13, 2021. Memorial services will be 2:00 PM Saturday April 24, 2021 with Royce Riggin officiating. Pat was born on April 9, 1930 in Sedan, Kansas to Harold and Iva Thornhill. She worked as a manager at Park Avenue Florist for several years and was also a receptionist at Coon Memorial Hospital in Dalhart. Pat was family oriented and raised four boys. She was a feisty and resilient lady who was always ready to tackle a challenge. She was a fighter and will be missed by many.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband; Charles D. Riggin; two sons, Tom Riggin and Rick Riggin; one brother, Dee Thornhill; one sister, Betty Fletcher.

Survivors include two sons, Coy Riggin and wife Dala of Amarillo and Royce Riggin and wife Jennifer of Lubbock; one daughter in law, Renee Riggin of Amarillo; 15 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephew, friends and dance partners.
