Patrick B. Henry

Patrick B. Henry, 77, of Amarillo, died Friday, November 17, 2017. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Monday, November 20, 2017 at Canyon Country Church, 2600 FM 3331 in Canyon, with Pastor Jeff Cates officiating. Patrick was born January 10, 1940 in Bowie County, Texas to Denzil and Ollie Henry. He graduated from Dekalb High School, and obtained his real estate license from Amarillo College. He married Linda Barnett in 1960 in Amarillo. Patrick was an extremely talented artist, poet, singer, and songwriter. He had an art gallery in Sunset Art Gallery of Amarillo for a time. He was also a member of Southwest Cowboy Poets. Patrick was a jokester. He loved telling a good joke. He was an active member of Canyon Country Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; two sisters; and a great-grandson, Gyntry Graham. Survivors include his wife, Linda Henry; a daughter, Patricia Henry of Amarillo; a son, Randy Henry and wife Shelly of Houston; a sister, Virginia Ray of Mena, AR; a brother, Richard Henry and wife Teresa of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
