Paula Kay Wilson

Paula Wilson, 75 of Amarillo passed away Monday, May 7, 2018. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church, 1601 I-40 West. Paula was born June 12, 1942 to Robert and Vera Ratliff In Pampa, TX. She graduated from Pampa High School. She married the love of her life Don Wilson on September 3, 1960 at Central Baptist Church. She was a member of Trinity Baptist for about three years. She was a loving, caring person, wife, mother and grandmother. Paula had a love for God and her church community. She loved music, playing the piano and organ, reading and going to events that her grandchildren were in. She enjoyed camping and quilting. Above all she loved her family. Paula will be dearly missed. Paula is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Don Wilson of Amarillo; two daughters, Brenda Kay Bass and husband David of Richmond,TX, Karen Sue York and husband Terry of Bushland, TX; one brother, Robert Leon Ratliff of Philadelphia, TN; five grandchildren, Britini and Jordan Bass, Joshua York and wife Lauren, Whitney Orr and husband Cory, and Hanna York; six great grandchildren, Piper, Lincoln, Molly, Ryder, Caroline, and Abraham. In lieu of flowers, we are accepting cash or check donations to Georgia Manor nursing home, 2611 SW. 46th ave., for checks please write "Resident Activity Fund" in memo line.
