Pearl "Grammy" Jones

Pearl Marie Jones left this Earth October 21st, 2022. She is preceded in death by her parents James (Jim) Sr. and Mary Stanton. She is survived by her husband Mark Jones Sr., her children Gina Wright and husband Thad, Melinda Garonzik and husband Mark, Mark Jones Jr. and wife Krista, Robert Jones and wife Ashley, and Brandy Blassingame and husband Brent, brothers James Jr, Mike, and Matt Stanton, and sister Tammy Dean, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pearl married the love of her life December 15, 1982. She gained two bonus daughters Gina and Melinda. She and Mark later went on to have three more children Mark Jr, Robert, and Brandy. She was a fun mom who enjoyed watching scary movies and finding ways to entertain her children. Whether it was going to the library, shopping, or making scary movies of our own. She was ecstatic in the year 2000 because she became a “Grammy”. Eventually she was blessed to have a total of 15 grandchildren. Her grandbabies were her world. She was always sharing pictures or stories with people she met. In a crowded room, she could be found in a corner with a grandchild playing games.

She enjoyed reading historical romance novels and playing video games. She always claimed to be the master of Tetris but the jury is still out on that one. Pearl was a kind soul who loved with her entire heart. She will be missed by many.

The family will be having a Celebration of life gathering on Friday October the 28th from 2:00-4:00 PM, come and go, at the Cox Rowley funeral home, 4180 Canyon Dr.
