Peggy Pauline Hatch, 96, of Amarillo, TX, was carried by the love of family into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, July 9, 2023. She was born on June 15, 1927, in Plainview, TX. Peggy's life was a testament to love, faith, and selflessness. Even in her last hours, she was blessing others with the love of Jesus. Peggy and her beloved husband, Don, were successful entrepreneurs who ran Whites Auto store together for 35 years. They built a life filled with love, laughter, and hard work. Peggy had a passion for the mountains and found solace in nature's beauty. She also had a creative side and enjoyed sewing, cross-stitching, knitting, and oil painting. Peggy's artistic talents were a reflection of her vibrant spirit and zest for life. Family meant everything to Peggy, and she cherished every moment spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even her great-great-grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to shower them with love and create lasting memories. Visitation for family and friends will be on Wednesday, July 12th from 5:00-7:00 pm at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home. Peggy's celebration of life will be held at Trinity Fellowship Church Chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at 10:00am with a graveside tribute at Llano Cemetery immediately following. This will be a time for family, friends, and loved ones to gather together, sharing stories and memories of a life well-lived. Peggy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Don. She leaves behind a daughter, Donna Odem and husband James of Smithville, TX and a son, Ken Hatch and wife Marijo of Amarillo, TX. Peggy's beautiful legacy includes 5 grandchildren, 12 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
