Peggy Immel, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on September 21, 2024. Graveside Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday September 26, 2024 at Llano Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Ponder Officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.
Peggy was born on October 8, 1946 in Pampa to Arthur and Bernice Dean. She graduated from Stinnett High School in 1964 and married her husband, Nick Immel two years later on September 1, 1966. Peggy was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother who knew the importance of leading her family to Jesus. Nothing made her happier than Sunday morning worship and fellowship with her family, followed by everyone around the dinner table for roast and potatoes. Peggy loved her grandchildren immensely and was always ready for them to spend the night. She always had something sweet ready to eat.
Peggy was also a devoted employee of the same law firm for more than 40 years. She made many lifelong friends out of her coworkers, many whom still visited her frequently.
While the family is happy that Jesus has called Peggy home, she will be terribly missed by them and all who knew and loved her.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Charlie Dean; her husband, Nick Immel and one great grandchild, Becklyn Reigh Miller.
Survivors include her two children; son, Brad Immel and wife Catherine of Amarillo; Daughter, Sherilyn Immel all of Amarillo; one brother, Donald Dean and one sister, Jemma Dean; five grandchildren, Shyla Miller, Dre'lin Gardner, Te'anna Gardner, Hannah Boaz and Nicholas Immel; one great grandchild, Lillian Jo Boaz.
Ill love you tomorrow and if I know anything in this life is that I’ll see you in the next
