Pete George Petropoulos

Pete Petropoulos, 64, of Amarillo, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. Services are pending at this time. Pete was born July 2, 1953 in Amarillo to George and Frances Petropoulos. He graduated from Amarillo High School. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm. He married Lailani Biag in 2006. Pete worked as a guard for TDCJ at the Clements Unit for several years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed fishing, and followed horse racing. He was preceded in death by his father, George Petropoulos. Survivors include his wife, Lailani Petropoulos of Amarillo; his mother, Frances Richardson and husband Otho of Bushland; two brothers, Marcus Petropoulos and wife Twyla of Arizona, and Grant Richardson and wife Erin of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.
