Ramona Rhea Batchelor

Ramona was born on February 13,1934 in Clarendon to John and Pricie Rhea. She married James Ray Batchelor on October 2, 1953 in Amarillo; he preceded her in death in 2006. Ramona received her Master's Degree in Education from West Texas A&M, working as an elementary and middle school teacher, in Amarillo for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles and socializing with her close friends. She was known to be intelligent, strong-willed, and, sometimes, opinionated. Above all, she loved her family and cherished time spent with them. Ramona is survived by her son, David Batchelor, and wife, Audrey, and 3 granddaughters: Lyndsey, Bryanna, and Myriah Batchelor. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings: brothers Burrell, Beverly and Max Rhea, her sister, Joann Gerner, and her husband, James Batchelor.
