Raymond Kennedy

Raymond Kennedy, 79, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, December 11, 2018. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Llano East Cemetery. Raymond was born November 26, 1939 in Hartford, Connecticut to Raymond and Helen Kennedy.  He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Pantex for over 30 years, until his retirement in 1994. He was a member of St. Hyacinth Church. Raymond enjoyed fishing, hunting, and was an avid NASCAR fan. He loved spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Donald Flegel; and a brother, Bob Kennedy. Survivors include his wife, Catarina Kennedy; a son, Chris Flegel and wife LeeAnn of Clarksville, TN; a brother, Ronnie Kennedy of Florida; six grandchildren, Christine Foster, Stephanie Jessup and husband John, Chris Flegel and wife Stephanie, Donald Flegel III, Dylan Flegel, and Ryan Flegel; and two great-grandchildren, Aayden and Finn.
