Rebecca Lynn Alward

Rebecca was born on September 18, 1958 in Amarillo to Harold and Atha Alward. She was a lifelong resident of Amarillo, attending Caprock High School and joining her home church, Newlife Foursquare Church in 1973. She was artistic, enjoying drawing, crafting and writing. Rebecca had a fun personality and had made many friends at Amarillo Skilled Care Center during her physical recovery. She enjoyed time with her family, especially playing games with her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her brother, Teddy Alward of Amarillo; mother, Atha Alward of Amarillo; nieces and nephews, December Bancroft of Amarillo, Beth Hart of Oklahoma City, OK, Joseph Howard of Oklahoma City, OK, Brandon Alward of Shallowater, Summer Shane of Oklahoma City, OK, Leif Ray of Oklahoma City, OK and Keri Alward of Amarillo and many great nieces and nephews. PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: father, Harold Alward; sister, LaDonna Howard and niece, Dusty Alward.
