Rebecca "Becky" Jones

Rebecca “Becky” Jones, 62, of Amarillo, passed into the arms of Jesus on Friday, March 1, 2024. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at Cox-Rowley funeral home, 4180 Canyon Drive, Amarillo, Texas, with Ben Handon Officiating. Becky was born on March 25, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Birdie and Bonnie Jones. She graduated from the Amarillo College nursing program. Becky worked as a nurse for well over twenty years. She was an avid reader, specifically the James Patterson novels. She also enjoyed a good mystery television show, including but not limited to, Dateline and 20/20. Becky loved spending quality time with her family, playing games together and working puzzles. She was a very loving and devoted Nana to her grandchildren and enjoyed attending every sporting event she could. She was loved by so many and will be deeply missed.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents; her step father, Gerald Vinyard and her great nephew, Jules Moore.

Survivors include her daughter, Leslie Fowler and husband Charlie; son, Josh Sharber and wife Andrea all of Amarillo; daughter, Cassie Bennett and husband Brian of Lubbock; one brother, Ron Jones also of Lubbock; her bonus daughters, Adina Hernandez and husband Saul of Amarillo; Melissa Vallia of Louisiana; her sister in law, Linda Jones; two nieces, Amanda Moore of Amarillo and Aubrie Owens of Hawaii; one nephew, Hayden Jones of Georgia; ten grandchildren, Averie, Keelie, Taegan, Tate, Simon, Brooklynn, Aaron, Hudson, Cooper and Ryan; Great niece and nephew, Hannah and Jacob. Survivors also include a host of extended family and close friends.
