Reynato A. Gonzalez

Reynato A. Gonzalez, 60, of Amarillo died Friday, December 1, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Saint Mary's Cathedral, 1200 S. Washington, with Fr. Grant Spinhirne officiating. Rosary service will be 6:00 pm Tuesday at Cox Funeral Home - Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery. Reynato was born April 17, 1957 to Leonel Gonzalez, Sr. and Carmen Nava. He attended high school in Mcallen, Texas. He has lived in Amarillo since 1987. He worked as a roofer for many years. Reynato loved being outdoors, cooking out, and listening to music. He enjoyed taking photographs in his spare time. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Ramiro Gonzalez. He is survived by eight brothers, Hector Gonzalez of Indianapolis, Leonel Gonzalez, Jr. of Michigan, Albert Gonzalez of Austin, Santiago Gonzalez, Juan Gonzalez, Roy Gonzalez, Raul Gonzalez, and Frank Gonzalez all of Amarillo; and four sisters, Janie Gonzalez of Dallas, Nellie Martinez of Houston, Carmen Gonzalez of Arkansas, and Ana Bendabout of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
