Rhonda Vanlandingham

Rhonda Vanlandingham, 58, of Amarillo, died Thursday, January 10, 2019. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. Rhonda was born March 10, 1960 in Dimmitt. She drove taxis for several years and also worked as a server at IHOP and Pizza Hut. Rhonda adored animals. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Laverne Vanlandingham; her husband, Frank Simons; a brother, Cary Lee Vanlandingham; and a nephew, Ethan Lewis. Survivors include five daughters, Reagen Simons of Lubbock, Randi Jo Marriot of Katy, Brandi Sandoval and husband Angel of Las Vegas, NM, Sherri Sarrels and husband Jeff, and Stephanie McKnight and husband Kevin all of Amarillo; two brothers, Terry Lewis and wife Aruna of Wyoming, and Kyle Vanlandingham and wife Christie; a sister-in-law, Donna Vanlandingham of Amarillo; two granddaughters, Kaylie and Stephanie.
