Rhyder Michael Mcewen

d. May 22, 2025

Amarillo

Rhyder Michael McEwen was born without a heartbeat. He passed on from this life and into the arms of Jesus on May 22, 2025 at 0030 am BSA Hospital, Amarillo, Tx. He was born silent into this world, but his little life spoke volumes. He has shown us that there is no footprint too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world or in our hearts. He was born silent. Perfect and beautiful- all 18”, 3 lbs 15.5 oz. of him. Still loved. Still missed. Still remembered. EVERY day Stillborn. Still born. How quietly you tiptoed into our world. Silently, only for a moment you stayed… but WHAT an impact your footprints have left upon our hearts. You were planted on earth to bloom in heaven. We can take comfort in knowing that the first thing he saw when he opened his little eyes was the face of Jesus!

He is greeted in heaven by his Great Grandfather Authur Jewett (Panhandle, TX), Great Grandparents  Joel & Sarah Bernstein (Cleburne, TX) and Great Grandfather John DeVeney (Ada, OK).

He is mourned on earth by his parents: Ceyton & Ashley McEwen and big brother Carter Juarez (Amarillo, TX); Grandparents: Skeeter & Sherry McEwen (Amarillo, TX), John & Gerri-Lynn Ashley (Amarillo, TX), Barry & Norma Bernstein (San Benito, TX); Great Grands: Linda Jewett (Panhandle, TX), Larry & Janie Hicks (Clarendon, TX), Jerry & Martha DeVeney (Oklahoma City, OK); Aunts/Uncles: Clifton & Julie McEwen and cousins JR and Chloe (Spring Lakes, TX), Colton & Edwin McEwen (San Diego, CA), Erika Juarez (Moore, OK), Dakota Juarez (Oklahoma City, OK).

Private services to be held at family ranch in Boise City, OK on Saturday June 21, 2025 at noon.

Grief is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. Grief is just love with no place to go. We held you in our arms for a moment, but we will hold you in our hearts forever. Heaven’s gain is our loss.

**The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.  Psalms 34:18
