Dr. Ricky "Rick" Lee Laubhan

Dr. Ricky Lee "Rick" Laubhan, 63, of Amarillo died Tuesday, October 3, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Trinity Fellowship Church - Student Ministry Building, 5000 Hollywood Rd. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home. Rick was born July 1, 1954 in Pampa to Linden and Wilma Laubhan. He graduated from Pampa High School. Rick earned his Doctorate degree in Chiropractic from Parker College in Dallas in 1987, then moved to Amarillo. He married Ida Booth on August 20, 1988. He owned Laubhan Chiropractic from 1992-present. In his spare time, Rick enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and all things technological. He loved working cattle on his family's ranch. He was known for his sense of humor, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Rick was preceded in death by his father, Linden Laubhan; and by a nephew, Eric Snyder. Survivors include his wife, Ida Laubhan; 3 sons, Chris Laubhan and wife Ann of Lindale, Nick Laubhan and wife Heather of Wylie, and Matthew Booth and wife Justine of Amarillo; his mother, Wilma Laubhan of Amarillo; two brothers, Jerry Laubhan and wife Jennifer, and Carlton Laubhan and wife Brenda all of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 3915 Bell St. Amarillo, TX 79109. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 Friday at the funeral home.
