Rita Leila Given

Rita Leila Given, 55, of Amarillo passed away Friday, January 30, 2015. A celebration of life service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel with Rev. Chester Beavers officiating. Rita was born May 26, 1959, in Odessa, Texas to Mary and Richard Ramsay. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was considered a hard worker, generous to a fault and the life of the party. She is preceded in death by her husband, Scott Given. Rita is survived by her children, Tasmia, April, Chase and Kia Given; her grandchildren, Tanner Reese, Zackary Given, Deacon Given, and Lukas Childress; by her brothers, Bobby, Gerald, and Tony Lopez; as well as numerous other family members and beloved friends. The family suggests memorials to the Children's Miracle Network 1600 Wallace Boulevard Amarillo, TX 79106.
