Rita Focks Hutchings

Rita was born on July 2, 1928 in Cincinnati, OH to Don and Thelma Gilbreath. She worked as a nurse in Dallas for over 30 years. Although she retired from healthcare, nursing was in her spirit and she devoted her life to caring for others. Another strong trait for Rita was her red hair. She had a heart of gold but the temperament of a true red head. Her grandchildren considered her their "hotrod" Granny. Rita's nurturing spirit and strong willed personality will be missed by all. She is survived by her daughter, Anita Roberts; sister, Helen Gilbreath Hurley; 2 grandchildren, Vicki Calvary and Steve Roberts and 2 great grandchildren, Brianna Calvary and Sean Drennan and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
