Robert Lee Belcher, 62, of Amarillo passed away on January 22, 2022 in Tifton, Georgia. Memorial services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday March 11, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive with Pastor Stephen Bailey officiating.
He was born in Amarillo on April 5, 1959 to Curtis and Millie Belcher. Robert grew up in Amarillo. He attended and graduated from Amarillo High School in 1977. Robert married the love of his life, Cindy on August 13, 2013. He and Cindy just recently moved to Norman, Oklahoma. Robert knew the Lord and is in Heaven. He was a truck driver for over 40 years and worked for McCain Transportation at the time of his passing. Robert loved to fish and the Dallas Cowboys. He never met a stranger and was always kind to everyone he met. Robert had an infectious laugh and loved to tell jokes. He enjoyed watching the History Channel. Robert loved his family, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Curtis and Millie Belcher; and his late wife Shelly Belcher.
He is survived by his wife Cindy of Norman, OK; his daughter Michelle Gilchrist and husband Bobby of Amarillo, TX; his son Christopher Belcher of Panama, FL; his step-son Bradley Cline and wife Ashley Noble of Oklahoma; his step-son Shawn Motley of Amarillo, TX; step-daughter Shannon Aguilar of Washington; 6 beloved grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; his brother Jim Belcher and wife Sharron of Amarillo, TX; his sister Brenda Belcher of Amarillo, TX. Survivors also include a host of family members, extended family and close friends.
