Robert M. Jones

Robert M. Jones, 73, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday November 18, 2021. No services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowely Funeral Home.

Mike was born in Amarillo on October 12, 1948 to W.J. and Bobbie Jones. He worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad for 34 years before he retired. Mike was a Past Worshipful Master Mason and a member of the Palo Duro Masonic Lodge number 1239. He and his wife DeAnna were married for 54 years and enjoyed a happy and full life together. Mike enjoyed fishing, hunting, yard work, working on cars and playing with his grandkids.

Mike was survived his wife DeAnna Jones of the home; one son, Yancey Daniel Jones; one daughter, Tammie Kae Green and husband Glen; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
