Robert “Bobby” Malone, 90, of Amarillo, TX, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, surrounded his loving family. Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
Bobby was born July 6, 1935, to Fred and Mabel in Pampa TX. An identical twin, Bobby, Jimmy and their younger sister Joan grew up in a loving and close-knit family that lasted until his passing. Bobby proudly served in the Texas National Guard, where he developed the discipline and dedication that would serve him well throughout his life. A true entrepreneur at heart, he went on to become a business owner, building a life and livelihood through hard work and stubborn determination.
Bobby was an avid golfer and loved writing poetry. He tremendously enjoyed playing snooker with his buddies at “The Pit” and always looked forward to the good-natured competition and “friendly ribbing”. Bobby was a member at South Georgia Church of Christ and loved worshipping with his kids, grandkids and church family.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mabel and his twin brother Jimmy. He is survived by his daughter Kim and Jim Frazier, Robbie and Heather Malone and Todd and Lisa Malone. He has five grandkids, Katie and Austin Billstrom, Kelsey and Evan Homer Malone, Keaton Malone and girlfriend Marla, Kaid Malone and Brie Malone. Three great-grandkids, Axl, Chevy and Hollis Billstrom.
The family would like to thank everyone for the prayers, personal visits, special messages and helping hands. A special appreciation of gratitude goes to Hillside Heights Rehabilitation Suites and Enhabit Hospice for their kindness and professional courtesy in matters of health and heart. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Saint Jude’s Hospital or The ALS Association.
