Robert "Bob" Patrick

Robert “Bob” Patrick, of Amarillo, passed away on April 28, 2025 at the age of 87.  Celebration of Life Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Central Church of Christ Chapel, 1401 S. Madison St.

Bob was born and raised in Sherman, Texas and graduated from Sherman High School around 1955.  After two years at Texas Tech University Bob started a career in the pharmaceutical industry. He moved to Amarillo in 1973.  In 1983 Bob changed careers, starting several businesses, including restaurant cleaning, carpet store, carpet cleaning and selling insurance.

Bob served proudly in the United States Army and the Army Reserves. He believed strongly in service to God and his country.  Bob was a loving man of great faith and always gave more than he received.  His ready smile and willingness to lend a hand will be missed by many.

Bob is survived by his wife, Judy Patrick; four sons, Lance Patrick, Mark Patrick, Shawn Patrick and Aaron Patrick; his daughter Lauri Patrick, a step-son, John Sailors; a step-daughter, Joetta Gallardo; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
