Roberto Almeida

Roberto was born on July 4, 1937 in Del Rio to Juan and Amalia Almeida. He was raised in Del Rio and enlisted in the United States Army on April 6, 1960. He proudly served until his honorable discharge in 1966. Upon his discharge, Roberto moved to Amarillo, where he married Estella Hilburn on January 16, 1970. Roberto worked as a chef at Paradise Too for many years and owned and operated Almeida's Mexican Restaurant. He is survived by his wife, Estella Almeida of Amarillo; children, Richard Sifuentez of Amarillo, Cindy Hernandez of Big Springs Diane Diaz and Felix Sifuentez, both of Amarillo; brother, Pino Almeida and 4 sisters; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 sisters and his grandchild.
