Rodney Dale Kellison

Rodney Dale Kellison, 57, of Amarillo passed away on June 26, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Celebration of Life services are scheduled for 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at Life Church, 8600 Canyon Expy, with Pastor Jeff York officiating.

Rodney was born on July 29, 1966, in Amarillo to Jimmy and Nellwyn Kellison. He attended and graduated from Caprock High School. Rodney met and married the love of his life Lori Daniels on June 21, 1985. Together they shared 39 years of marriage, two amazing sons, and many amazing memories. Rodney was a hard worker, starting at a young age laying bricks with his brothers and laying carpet with his dad. He worked at Affiliated Foods for 30 years. Rodney always worked at least two jobs so that his wife could stay home with their boys, Tyler and Jared. He had an amazing sense of humor and loved joking with friends and family. Rodney was a very simple, honest, stand-up man. He would always give a helping hand whenever and wherever it was needed. Rodney loved football, playing in Jr and High School and continued to play Flag Football as an adult. He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and watched every game with his family. Rodney enjoyed playing the lottery, and although he never won the money, he won HUGE with his family. He truly loved his family, he was so proud of them. Rodney will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Darrell and Kerry.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lori of the home; his two sons, Tyler of Amarillo and Jared and his wife Anastasia of London, England. Survivors also include a host of other family members and dear friends.
